FairVote Event at Impact Hub

I want to invite you to our forum next week, in which I will talk about "How to kill the gerrymander and empower the voter with fair representation" on Tuesday, February 4th, at Impact Hub in Seattle. We'll discuss the roots of our political dysfunction and a realistic reform roadmap (outlined here) to make every voter count in elections for Congress and the Washington State legislature.

  1. As a poli-sci graduate who's been in the music industry, working with the rock band, Devo for decades--I really really dig what you're doing here, Krist. You and I met a ways back after an L-7 concert at the El Rey in Los Angeles. You have a superb case: reasoning for party-evolution, -transcending the two state parties. To achieve this--one must start at the congressional level. Until you can field compelling and effective congressional candidates, the de-evolution of our political system will continue.
